Prepare For Fridge Cleaning: This is a very important step that you want to take in order to keep your food from spoiling. Make sure that you have coolers and some ice on hand. You also want to have what cleaning products you plan on using such as cloths, paper towels, a bucket with warm water and a mild soap. You also want to have a towel to dry any areas that you have washed so they are ready to place your food back in the fridge.
Start With Clearing the Fridge: You want to get your food out of the refrigerator and have a place to store it while you do the cleaning process. Make sure you get the items that are perishable in a cooler with ice. Once it is all cleared out you want to turn off the refrigerator and check that it is off.
Make Your Cleaning Solution: Get a bucket that is full of warm water about one quart. Then you can add a tablespoon of baking soda in the water. Take the cleaning product and soak your wash cloth in the cleanser to use in the fridge.
