If your microwave has a funky odor, then place a bowl with baking soda inside and let it set over night. The baking soda will absorb the odor.

If you have an oven with a self-cleaning cycle you’re in luck. This is an easy way to clean the inside of the oven. All you will need to do is turn on the self-cleaning cycle and allow the oven to do its job. After it is done and has had a chance to cool down, you can use a cloth to wipe away any residue that may have been left behind. If it is not a self cleaning oven, you can put a cup of ammonia in a warm oven. The ammonia will turn into a gas or vapor and break up the spills and residue inside the oven.
